Refinishing means taking the floor all the way down to bare wood, then building it back up with stain and several coats of finish. It’s basically a reset. Recoating is less intense. We clean the surface, lightly prep it, and apply new finish on top without changing the color. Not every floor is a candidate for both. It depends on thickness, condition, and how it was installed in the first place. Sometimes you don’t really know until you take a closer look.

Most of our work is right here in Napa Valley. Napa, St. Helena, Yountville, Calistoga. That’s home base. But we do travel. Santa Rosa, Novato, San Rafael, and surrounding areas within about a hundred miles. Every now and then we’ll even get a call from further out. It really just depends on the project.
